The Jagwire Pro LR2-E Ebike Disc Brake Rotor is designed specifically for e-bikes and features an integrated magnet for use with speed sensors. Its innovative 2-piece construction combines an aluminum spider with a separate stainless steel brake track.
The stainless steel braking surface is machined to resist corrosion and minimize braking noise, while the aluminum spider incorporates an integrated concentric ring and reinforced rivet joints to enhance durability and prevent warping. This rotor is intended for rear wheel use on e-bikes equipped with dropout-mounted speed sensors.
The LR2-E rotor is compatible with various disc brake pad compounds, including organic/resin, metallic, and semi-metallic options. However, please note that LR2-E rotors are not compatible with brakes that have pads extending below the caliper body, such as Avid BB7, Avid Juicy, Hayes HFX, and Hayes MX1.
